ꜰɪꜰᴛʜ ᴡᴇᴇᴋ ᴏꜰ ᴛᴇᴀᴄʜɪɴɢ ᴩʀᴀᴄᴛɪᴄᴇ (4-12-23 ᴛᴏ 8-12-23)

On monday (4-12-23) there was school parliamentary election. I got duty in 9A. Students were disciplined and maintained helathy atmosphere throughout the election procedure.

Our school (G G H S S Attingal) was one of the venue of Trivandrum Revenue District Kalolsavam. It started on 5-12-23 and lasted till 8-12-23. There were 3 stages in our school. Stage 6( auditorium ), Stage 7 (first floor hall) and Stage 8 (School ground). First day I helped in arranging stage. Writing competitions were scheduled on the first day. Second day I were in the food serving committee. The programmes scheduled on this day were mappilappatu, kathakali, drama and instrumental music. Program chart of third day included elecution, vanjipattu, mime and nadanpattu. School was very crowded this day. I enjoyed watching mime. The last day of school kalosavam was the last day of our teaching practice in December. As it was the final day of kalosavam there were only few programmes like recitation.

I got a handful of experience and many lessons from the school in these 25 days. I have participitatedi in many kalolsavam before but but being able to view this as a 'teacher' was indeed a unique experience.

LAST WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE

Reflecting on My Final Week of Teaching Practice This week wrapped up my teaching practice, and it was both fulfilling and insightful. In 8G, I had the opportunity to teach a lesson on accidents and road safety. I aimed to make the topic engaging by incorporating real-life scenarios and interactive discussions. We talked about common causes of road accidents, the importance of following traffic rules, and ways to enhance safety for both pedestrians and drivers. The students were actively involved, sharing their personal experiences and brainstorming improvements for road safety in our community. With 8E, I explored the world of atoms and molecules. We started with the basics of atomic theory and then moved on to hands-on activities where students constructed molecular models using ball-and-stick kits.
