ꜱᴇᴄᴏɴᴅ ᴡᴇᴇᴋ ᴏꜰ ᴛᴇᴀᴄʜɪɴɢ ᴩʀᴀᴄᴛɪᴄᴇ (13-11-23 ᴛᴏ 17-11-23

I got  two classes in both 8th and 9th grade
I continued metals in 8E.i taught about some important properties of metals like hardness and metallic lustre. Incorporated ICT to help pupil to understand the topic better.
Throughout this unit, I've witnessed the transformation in my students' perception of metals. What once seemed mundane and uninteresting has now become a realm of fascination and intrigue. Exploring the intricacies of hardness, from Mohs scale to Brinell and Rockwell tests, has opened their eyes to the subtleties of material science.

But it's not just about memorizing facts and figures; it's about making connections. We've delved into the real-world applications of hardness in various industries, from construction to jewelry making. Understanding how hardness impacts the durability and functionality of metals has given my students a newfound appreciation for the materials that surround them every day.

And then there's the allure of metallic luster. The way light dances off a polished metal surface is a sight to behold, but there's so much more beneath the surface. We've explored the crystal structure of metals and how it influences their reflective properties. From the gleam of gold to the sheen of steel, each metal tells its own story through its luster.

But perhaps the most rewarding part of teaching this unit has been witnessing the spark of curiosity in my students' eyes. The questions they ask, the experiments they conduct—it's all part of the learning process. And as they continue on their journey of discovery, I can't help but feel grateful to be a guide on their path.

In 9E , I taught universal law of gravitation and did problems based on it.

In reflecting on the recent teaching of the Universal Law of Gravitation, it's evident that students engaged well with both the conceptual and mathematical aspects of the topic. Using a variety of teaching methods, including demonstrations and problem-solving exercises, helped reinforce understanding. Despite some initial challenges, students showed improvement in applying the law to real-world scenarios, highlighting its relevance beyond the classroom. Moving forward, emphasizing the historical context and encouraging further exploration of gravitational phenomena will continue to enrich students' understanding and appreciation of physics.
